1. Why do we use and process personal data?
We know how important the careful use of your personal data is to you. Data protection is extremely important to us as well. Personal data collected is exclusively processed and used within the legal regulations. You may generally visit our website without leaving any personal data. Your data helps us to customise and continuously improve your shopping experience. We use personal data to process orders, deliver goods, process payments, prevent abuse of our website and to inform you about orders, products, services and offers.
In order to be able to get in touch with you faster than per post we would like to request that you register your e-mail address with us. This will of course only be used for promotional purposes, once you give your explicit consent.

4. How do we protect your personal data?
When registering for "My Account" or placing an order, your personal data is transmitted to us via SSL (Secure-Socket-Layer) for extra security. This is currently the most widely used and secure internet data transmission system. We routinely use it whenever sensitive data is being transmitted. Additionally all customer information is saved on firewall protected secure servers which are not accessible to unauthorised persons.
We also apply other security measures to protect our customer’s personal data. In connection with these security measures you will occasionally be asked to prove your identity before we display any personal information. For example, accessing your customer account is only possible after entering your password.
